### How much does training from NVIDIA cost?

Our prices depend on the type of training (self-paced courses or instructor-led workshops), the topic, the length of the course, the type of GPU used in the lab exercises, and the number of students. Some courses are phased out as the catalog is updated. When this happens, students are provided a grace period to finish the course material before it becomes unavailable. It is not possible to adjust course expiration dates. Please visit [the web site](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/training/find-training.md) to see if this course has been replaced by a more updated version.

## Account and Login Questions

### Do I need an NVIDIA account to take training from NVIDIA?

Yes. To enroll and take a course, you'll need to create an NVIDIA account and set up your training profile.

* An NVIDIA account is a single sign-on and user identity account that lets you log in to various NVIDIA websites and applications with a single email and password. You can create an account from within any of the websites or applications that support NVIDIA accounts or directly from the [NVIDIA Account Portal](http://account.nvidia.com/).
Go [here](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/account/faq.md) for additional information on NVIDIA accounts.

* The first time you try to enroll in a course, you'll be asked to set up your training profile.

### How do I create an NVIDIA account?

Go to [account.nvidia.com](http://account.nvidia.com/) to create an account, sign in, and access your profile page.

### Why do I need an NVIDIA account?

Logging into your NVIDIA account gives you access to resources such as training, blogs, forums, tools and SDKs, on-demand videos, GTC sessions, and webinars, and more.

Also, once you set up your account, all your training activity will be tracked in the MyLearning section of your account. It will list courses in progress, courses completed, and course certificates earned.

### How do I change my password?

NVIDIA doesn't manage user passwords. If you need to change your NVIDIA account password, follow these steps:

1. Go to [account.nvidia.com](http://account.nvidia.com/).
2. Choose the option for “forgot password.”
3. Enter and submit your email and/or username.
4. You should receive an email from NVIDIA.
5. Create a new password that's 8–15 characters long.

### Do I need to join the NVIDIA Developer Program to take training from NVIDIA?

No. But there are several benefits provided to members of the program, including access to tools and toolkits, training, and technical resources. Visit [here](https://developer.nvidia.com/developer-program) to see the complete list of program benefits.

### I’m trying to create an NVIDIA Developer account, but I’m getting an error message.

If you’re seeing an error message that says, “Oops, something went wrong,” clear your cache, turn on incognito mode, or try using a different browser.

If you get a message that says, “You do not fulfill the requirements at this time,” it could be that you don’t meet the eligibility requirements. You must be over 18 years old to create an account. Please reference [NVIDIA’s privacy policy](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/about-nvidia/privacy-policy.md) for details.

If you get an email address error, try using a different browser.

### What should I do if my password for my NVIDIA Developer account doesn't work?

If you’re having trouble with your password, you can change it by following these steps:

1. Go to [account.nvidia.com](http://account.nvidia.com/).
2. Click on "Need help logging in?” and hit "Reset Password.”
3. Enter your email address to receive a password-change email. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t receive it within a few minutes.

### How do I change my login email for the NVIDIA Developer account?

You can change your login email for your NVIDIA Developer account directly through the [NVIDIA Account Portal.](http://account.nvidia.com/)

### What should I do if I haven’t received my NVIDIA Developer account confirmation email?

Please check your spam folder. If you still can’t find your confirmation email, submit a support case [here](https://enterprise-support.nvidia.com/s/create-case).

### When trying to log in, I receive an error that references age.

This issue is related to your NVIDIA account; some locations require that users meet a minimum age to log in, and this may cause a conflict if the account was previously created from a location that didn't require an age to be entered. Logging into your account [account profile](https://profile.nvgs.nvidia.com/profile) and configuring your actual age should solve the problem.

## Promo Codes and Payment Questions

### What should I do if my training promo code doesn’t work?

First, double-check that your promo code date hasn't expired. If the date is still valid, you might need to ensure that the promo code covers the full value of your course. For instance, some codes are worth $30 USD and others are valued at $90 USD. Check your offer’s details for more information.

Here’s more information on how to redeem promo codes for [instructor-led workshops](https://nvdam.widen.net/s/6jp2spsbk9/dli-nvie-2.0-launch-how-to-redeem-instructor-led-workshop-discount-r3-1) and [self-paced courses](https://nvdam.widen.net/s/zjrmqd7wvt/dli-nvaie-2.0-launch-how-to-redeem-self-paced-online-course-discount-r3-1).

If you’re still having problems, check your spelling, make sure you’re not entering the code in the online shop payment cart, and make sure you’re not trying to apply a self-paced training promo code to an instructor-led course.

### What should I do if my payment doesn’t go through for a course?

If your purchase doesn't go through, please recheck your payment details. If you don’t get an error message, please submit a support case [here.](https://enterprise-support.nvidia.com/s/create-case)

### How do I use learning credits to enroll in a course?

Learning credits can be redeemed for self-paced courses, public workshops, private workshops, Academy memberships and certification exams. Once they are redeemed, NVIDIA will provide codes and vouchers that can be used to enroll. Contact your training lead to redeem learning credits and get the appropriate promo codes.

### How can I get a copy of my invoice?

For developer training, to view your invoice, find the order on your account's “Order Information” page, and click the "View Order" button. This will open a new page and from there you'll be able to view and download your invoice.

For IT administrator training, please complete the [NVIDIA Academy Assistance Request form](https://academy.nvidia.com/en/contact-us/).

### What is your refund policy?

Once purchased, public instructor-led training, self-paced online training, certification exam vouchers, and learning credits purchased for future training are not cancellable or refundable. Please read the [NVIDIA Training’s terms and conditions](https://academy.nvidia.com/en/terms-of-use/) for complete details.

## Technical Support

### I’m experiencing an issue while taking a course. How do I get support?

[Create a case](https://enterprise-support.nvidia.com/s/create-case) to request support. Include as many details as possible about the issue you’re experiencing such as the course name, a copy of the text or screenshot of any error messages you see, proof of purchase for order issues. The ticket must be submitted by the email address your DLI account is enrolled with, as we are unable to accept requests on behalf of another email address.

### I started the course, but the GPU instance won’t launch.

Visit [websocketstest.courses.nvidia.com](http://websocketstest.courses.nvidia.com/) and make sure all three test steps are checked “Yes.” This will test the ability of your system to access and deliver the training content. If you encounter issues, try updating your browser. Note: Only Chrome and Firefox are supported. Try connecting to a different network (e.g., switch your VPN off/on) or using a different device.
